Where can I park and how much is it?

Free surface parking lot at the Hotel and across the street.

What is the difference between badges and add-on tickets?

Badges provide admission to the convention. A badge gives you access to the exhibit hall, programming, and other included (free) events happening in public areas. An add-on ticket confirms a spot a separately-priced events or workshop. An add-on ticket does not provide admission; you must first purchase a ticket to the convention before purchasing an add-on ticket.

What if my child is lost? If you child is lost, go to Registration and they will inform our staff. When your child is found, he or she will be brought to Registration.

How do I report harassment?

The Best Little Horror Con in Texas has a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment. Please immediately report any incidents of harassment to the staff. Any such complaints will be taken seriously and dealt with in a professional manner to ensure that no further harassment occurs.

When does pre-registration open for 2020?

It is open now. You can register right now on your phone or computer.

Can I buy a badge at the door?

Yes, but that is slower. Purchase tickets on your phone or computer to skip the Registration line and go through Will Call.

How do I register for the Best Little Horror Con in Texas?

EVENTS QUESTIONS

What events will be at the Best Little Horror Con in Texas?

BLHCT has a robust list of programming available to horror & supernatural fans and creators in the tracks of Literature, Film, and Cosplay. You can find a complete list under the PROGRAMMING menu. Special events include the On Set Project, Movie Finance Pitch Sessions, IP Licensing Speed Dating, Student Film Scholarship and Film Festival, the Student Writing Scholarship and Short Story Contest, and the Drama Student Competition and Scholarship.

What is the Refund Policy?

All sales are final. Tickets cannot be transferred to future shows. Please be careful not to lose your convention badge or wristband because they will not be replaced.

How do I register for specific events?

Only events with add-on costs need to be registered for, such as the Movie Finance Pitch Sessions. You may reserve your spot for those events by selecting the PARTICIPATE button, then choosing PURCHASE TICKETS . Please note that add-on cost events do not grant admission. You must first purchase a weekend or day pass to get access to the event and then purchase any add-on events you wish to participate in.

Panels, workshops, and other programming without add-on costs do not need to be registered for and are first-come, first-served events for General Admission passholders. There is no guarantee of seating. Best Seat passholders are admitted to panels, workshops, and other programming 10 minutes ahead of GA passholders.

Who can submit events to the Best Little Horror Con in Texas?

Anyone can submit events to BLHCT. Once submitted, your event will be reviewed by the appropriate track coordinator and you will be notified if you have been accepted or rejected. The deadline to submit an event is: ______________

Is there a cost for running events?

No. In fact, if you run at least 2 events over the course of the weekend your pass will be comped.

If your event has been rejected you may be able to modify the event with the guidance of the track coordinator and submit it again.

HOTEL QUESTIONS

What is the BLHCT hotel room rate?

The BLHCT discounted room rate is xxx + tax.

When do I need to make a hotel reservation?

Register early before the room block is filled and no more discounted rooms are available.

The hotel told me there is no Best Little Horror Con in Texas room block. What now? If you are having difficulty booking into the BLHCT room block, please email xxxxxx@xxxxxx with your full name and contact information and the dates needed. We will do everything we can to resolve the issue even if it means increasing the size of our room block.

How do I change or cancel a hotel reservation I made?

I called the hotel to reserve a room but they are all booked. Can I still get a room in the BLHCT block?

Maybe. If the hotel is sold out we may still have space in one of our blocks. Use this weblink to check availability in our block: xxxx

I booked my room outside the Best Little Horror Con in Texas Block at a higher price. Can I get the BLHCT block rate for my room?

No. To get the discounted block rate you would have to cancel your existing reservation and re-book into the Best Little Horror Con in Texas room block.

KIDS QUESTIONS

Are kids welcome to the show?

Yes, but please keep in mind that since this is a horror and supernatural show young children may find some things scary.

How much is a kid’s badge?

We do not have a kid’s badge. Children 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Children 11 and over must buy a standard admission.

Do you have a day care onsite?

No, we do not. Adults may not leave their children unattended.

EXHIBITOR QUESTIONS

When do you assign booth numbers?

We will begin assigning booth numbers as soon as our layout has been finalized.

How many badges come with a booth?

Each booth receives 2 vendor badges regardless of the size of the booth. Additional discounted dealer badges may be purchased upon request. Please email operations@bestlittlehorrorconinTexas to request additional badges.

How much are additional exhibitor badges?

Additional exhibitor badges are $15 each.

How many tables and chairs do I get with my booth?

Each booth receives 1 table and 2 chairs per space.

I need to get electric, phone lines, and internet, and more tables in my booth – what do I do?

What is the Exhibitor Refund Policy?

To cancel your exhibit booth you may send email notification to operations@bestlittlehorrorconinTexas.com . Cancelled booths will be fully refunded if it is 90 days or more before the con. If it is less than 90 days before the con, the booth will only be refunded if we are able resell the booth space. If the space is not sold, no refund will be given. Refunds given for booths cancelled less than 90 days out will be issued AFTER the convention.
